When healthcare staff move to a new healthcare setting they must undergo rigorous pre-employment checks before they can start work. These checks are largely manual and can be time consuming, meaning it takes up to 3 days before staff can begin work filling staffing gaps.
Sitekit NHS Staff Passports are based on the “NHS Enabling Staff Movement Toolkit” and provide a legal basis for organisations to share data.
