Digital Experience Business Development Lead
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Lead to join our team working with our Digital Experience Products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the health and social care sectors, with a proven track record of developing strategies, identifying new business opportunities, finding clients, and closing deals. Bringing in your own contracts is an integral part of the role. We require a self-motivated individual who can work independently to drive business growth and form strategic partnerships. You will own your sales strategy and reporting and will be creative and outgoing in your approach with a strong eye for commercial opportunity. With time you will gain good product knowledge by working with the wider team enabling you to work independently but collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Entry and Expansion:
- Develop and execute a phased commercial strategy, beginning with a focused approach on the UK market and the potential for transitioning to new geographies.
- Collaborate with the executive team to define market entry, expansion, and penetration strategies for each potential region.
2. Sales Leadership:
- Strategise and plan for an entry with new customers, leveraging your experience to establish strong foundation for growth.
- Initially working as the sole business development professional. We expect you to grow and build the business to eventually support your own sales team.
3. Strategic Partnerships and Frameworks:
- Identify and foster strategic partnerships in the UK health, social care and wider public sectors to expand our market presence and enhance our offerings.
- Identify suitable procurements frameworks for listing Sitekit products. Working with your sister business unit, develop new framework listings and maintain existing listings to ensure maximum opportunity.
- Prepare for anticipated geographic expansion by establishing early relationships with potential partners and stakeholders.
4. Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the UK, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Lay the groundwork for future engagement by identifying potential clients and understanding their requirements.
5. Market Insights and Trends:
- Stay abreast of market trends, competitive forces, and emerging opportunities in the health and social care landscapes.
- Working closely with the product team, utilise insights to refine our health and social care offerings and shape market entry strategies.
6. Reporting and Analytics:
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for executive leadership, providing a clear overview of sales performance, growth prospects, and market dynamics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in health and/or social care administration, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully leading sales and business development efforts in the health and social care sector.
- In-depth understanding of the health and social care markets, including regulatory frameworks, reimbursement models, and industry trends.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated ability to drive results in complex markets.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative culture.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Ability and willingness to spend up to three days a week travelling to meet business leads in person, talking to them over coffee, exploring leads, attending conferences and events.
- Proficiency in data analytics and CRM systems to guide decision-making.
- Ideally based in Southern England within 1.5 hours of London and/or Birmingham.
- Willingness to travel to support business development activities in alternative geographic regions.

Identity and Access Management Business Development Lead
Position Overview
As the Business Development Lead for our Identity and Access Management business unit, you will play a pivotal role in driving Sitekit’s growth in the broader cybersecurity and identity management market. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth in alignment with our vision of transforming IAM across multiple sectors. You will also play a key role in building the business unit’s brand identity and marketing strategy, helping to establish us as a leader in secure and efficient IAM solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Entry and Expansion:
- Develop and execute a phased business development strategy to grow Sitekit’s presence in regulated markets, such as healthcare, private health care and public services, with a focus on the identity and access management and cybersecurity markets.
- Collaborate with the executive, product, and engineering teams to define strategies for geographic expansion into Europe and North America, ensuring alignment with regulatory and market needs.
- Explore opportunities for growth in both IAM and complementary components, such as our enterprise credentialing service and IGA adapters.
2. Sales Leadership:
- Lead efforts to secure new clients and expand service offerings to existing ones, with a focus on private healthcare, public services, and the broader cybersecurity market.
- Leverage your experience in cybersecurity, identity lifecycle management, and access control to identify new sectors and drive client acquisition.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align solutions with market demand and client needs.
- Strategise and plan for an entry with new customers, leveraging your experience to establish strong foundation for growth including expansion of the sales team.
3. Strategic Partnerships:
- Identify and nurture strategic partnerships that enhance Sitekit’s offerings in identity management, cybersecurity, and governance, both in the UK and internationally.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare and public service sectors, laying the groundwork for expansion into new geographies and markets.
4. Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the UK, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Lay the groundwork for future engagement by identifying potential clients and understanding their requirements.
5. Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales and business development team that can excel in the current marketplace.
- Create a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability to drive results.
6. Market Insights and Trends:
- Stay abreast of market trends, competitive forces, and emerging opportunities in the healthcare landscapes.
- Utilise insights to refine our healthcare offerings and shape market entry strategies.

- Coordinate with outsourced marketing consultants where necessary to ensure the success of marketing efforts and lead generation.
7. Reporting and Analytics:
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for executive leadership, providing a clear overview of sales performance, growth prospects, and market dynamics.
- Monitor and report on KPIs, such as marketing-qualified leads, sales closed, and new market penetration.
